Animazious’ training programs foreground positive reinforcement (rewards) and use of consistent communication skills to enourage your pet to learn in a relationship of trust and partnership.
“Clicker training”, as this approach is often called, is a fast, humane and enriching way to teach dogs to be great companions. It is also a very precise skill which can be used to develop advanced skills for competitve canine sports.This is because scientific research has proved that animals learn most readily and retain their learning better when taught through positive reinforcement.
Our programs also rely on insights from the study of animal behaviour. We need to understand normal canine behaviour in order to modify it so that it is expressed in ways which are acceptable in our homes, families and communities, and to ensure we are meeting our pet’s behavioural and environmental needs.
